Terms of Use

1. Your account

A family account must be created by a person aged 18 or over. You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and tell us about any unauthorized use. You agree to use the portal only for its intended purposes, without interfering with it or accessing information not meant for you. We may suspend an account used in breach of these terms.

2. Registering for lessons

• For each registration you receive a contract stating the class, the place, the dates, the total price, the payment terms and how to cancel.
• Your payment method is saved when you register. Nothing is charged before the day of the first lesson; if the session has already started, payment is charged at registration. Where the law requires it, the price is split into two instalments.
• If our team registers you, save your card within the time stated in the e-mail you receive; otherwise the spot may be released to another family. Lessons given while the person was registered are still owed, whether or not they attended.
• A missed lesson gives no right to a refund.

3. Cancellation

• You may cancel a registration at any time with the Cancel button in My registrations or by written notice, for example an e-mail to admin@sauvetageassure.com. Before the first lesson, no fee applies. After it, only the price of the lessons already given and a penalty equal to the lesser of $50 or 10% of the price of the remaining lessons may be kept. Any refund is made within 10 days, to the card used. If what was paid does not cover that amount, the difference is charged to the saved card.
• If we cancel a lesson, its value is taken off your next payment or refunded. If we end a registration (for example for the participant's safety or because the pool closes), the lessons not given are refunded, with no penalty.

4. Safety

Tell us about any health condition relevant to a participant's safety and follow staff instructions and pool rules. We may refuse or stop a person's participation if safety requires it.

5. General

The portal may be interrupted for maintenance. Its content and our programs belong to Sauvetage Assuré and may not be reproduced without permission. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you, including under the Consumer Protection Act, or our liability for bodily or moral injury. We may change these terms and will tell you about any important change; a registration already confirmed remains governed by its contract. These terms are governed by the laws of Québec.
